Cocoa Beans and Cocoa Butter Buy Requirement from France - 17-Aug-2026

We are currently seeking a long-term supplier of Cocoa from
the Dominican Republic, and we are particularly interested in
working with a supplier who can offer us different forms of
cocoa from the same origin.

We are looking for the following products:

Cocoa beans
Cocoa butter
100% cocoa mass/cocoa liquor
Natural, non-alkalized cocoa powder

Our estimated consumption would be approximately 300 to
500 kg per year, with orders of around 100 kg per order,
meaning approximately 3 to 4 orders per year.

We are interested in establishing a long-term, recurring
business relationship with regular orders throughout the year.

Before proceeding, we would like to obtain information on the
following points:

1. Origin and Traceability

Are the beans, cocoa mass, and cocoa powder 100% of
Dominican Republic origin?

What is the region of origin and, if applicable, the cocoa
variety?

Can all three products come from the same raw
material/origin?

Can you provide documentation that guarantees the
traceability of the cocoa?

2. Certifications

Is the cocoa certified organic according to European Union
regulations?

Do you have Fairtrade certification?

What other certifications do you have available (Rainforest
Alliance, etc.)?

If so, could you please send us a copy of the corresponding
certificates?

3. Cocoa Powder

Is the cocoa powder natural and not alkalized?

What is its fat content (% cocoa butter)?

Could you please send us the product's technical data sheet?

4. Cadmium and Heavy Metals

This point is especially important to us.

Is each batch of cocoa analyzed to determine the content of
cadmium and other heavy metals?

Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each batch?

Could you please send us a recent COA that indicates, at a
minimum, the results for:

Cadmium

Lead

Arsenic

Mercury

Are pesticide residue analyses and microbiological controls
also performed?

5. Quantities and Prices

We would like to know your professional prices for approximately:

100 kg of cocoa beans
100 kg of cocoa mass
100 kg of cocoa butter
100 kg of cocoa powder

Our goal is to place orders of approximately 100 kg, 3 to 4
times a year, depending on our needs.

Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ) for each of these
products?

6. Shipping to France

What is the typical lead time for an order of approximately 100
kg?

What would the approximate delivery time be to France?

Do you ship directly from the Dominican Republic or do you
have stock in the European Union?

Could you please tell us the shipping costs and delivery
terms?

What What Incoterm do you typically use for deliveries in
France?

Are customs clearance fees, import duties, and other import-
related costs included in the price or invoiced separately?

Finally, we would appreciate it if you could send us the
technical data sheets, available certificates, and professional
price list for these three products.
