Our company is currently looking to secure a reliable,
long-term supply partner in Oman for premium,
Sashimi-Grade Yellowfin Tuna (Jeather).

Overview & Purpose
Our company is seeking competitive proposals from
qualified Omani commercial fisheries, processors, and
exporters capable of supplying premium, Sashimi-
Grade Yellowfin Tuna (Thunnus albacares). The
product must be caught using sustainable methods
(Handline/Longline) in Omani waters and handled via
strict Ultra-Low Temperature (ULT) cold chain
processing.

2. Scope of Supply & Volume
Target Species: Yellowfin Tuna (Thunnus albacares /
Local: Jeather)
Total Monthly Volume: 3,000 Metric Tons (MT) per
month
Estimated Logistical Requirement: Approximately 143
x 40-foot High-Cube ULT Reefers per month
(Based on ~21 MT per container load)
Contract Term: 12-Month Rolling Contract (Subject to
quarterly performance and quality reviews)

4. Technical Cold Chain Requirements (Mandatory)
Suppliers must demonstrate the technical capability to
strictly maintain a Grade-A sashimi color and cellular
structure:
Core Freezing: Core temperature must be brought
down to -60?C via Nitrogen flash-freezing or
specialized brine freezing immediately post-harvest.
Shipping Logistics: Ocean freight must exclusively
utilize specialized Ultra-Low Temperature (ULT) -60?C
"Super-Freezer" containers.
Traceability & Verification: Every container must
include a minimum of two (2) continuous USB
temperature data loggers to verify an unbroken cold
chain during transit.

5. Compliance & Documentation
All shipments must fully comply with international
regulations and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries
and Water Resources of Oman. Each shipment
requires:
Official Omani Catch Certificate proving legal,
reported, and regulated fishing.
Health / Sanitary Certificate issued by authorized
Omani food safety bodies.
Certificate of Origin verified by the Oman Chamber of
Commerce.
Detailed Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Ocean
Bill of Lading (B/L).

6. Submission Guidelines & Quote Format
Please structure your proposal submission with the
following details:

1. Pricing Structure: Quote (CIF) from primary export
hubs Loading port (e.g., Port of Duqm, Port of Salalah,
or Sohar Port) To Guangzhou Nansha Port, China.
2. Currency of quotation: USD per Metric Ton.
3. Capacity Statement: Confirm your processing
facilitys maximum monthly output and how much
of our 3000 MT/month requirement you can securely
guarantee.
4. Lead Time: Average timeframe required from order
confirmation/LC issuance to port delivery.
5. Payment Terms: Preferred commercial payment
structures (e.g., 100% Irrevocable Letter of Credit at
sight).
