We want to purchase Metal Scrap (RFQ)
Request for Quotation (RFQ)

1. Product Specifications

Material Type: HMS 1&2, Aluminum Extrusion 6063,
Copper Wire Millberry, Stainless Steel.
Grade/Quality: ISRI Standard / Specific Mill Specification
Chemical Composition: Fe: =95Percent, Cu: =99.9Percent,
Al: =95Percent
(specify per material type)
Physical Condition: Clean, free from dirt, grease, oil, paint,
and non-metallic inclusions
Size Requirements: HMS: =1500mm × 500mm × 500mm;
Cut lengths acceptable
Thickness: 6mm (for heavy melting steel)

2. Quantity & Packaging:

Trial Order: 1 × 20'FCL (25-27 MT)
Monthly Requirement: 500-1000 MT (subject to quality approval)
Packaging: Bulk loose loading or bundled as per ISRI standards
Container Loading: 20' or 40' HC FCL basis preferred

3. Quality Control & Inspection

Pre-shipment Inspection: SGS/BV/Intertek inspection mandatory
at loading port
Rejected Materials: Radioactive materials, sealed units,
munitions, excessive moisture (1%), unwanted attachments
Weight Determination: Draft survey at loading port, final
weight at destination port (0.5% tolerance allowed)

4. Delivery Terms

Incoterms: CFR/CIF [Destination Port] or FOB [Loading Port]
Port of Loading: [e.g., Hamburg, Houston, Singapore, Dubai]
Port of Discharge: [Your designated port]
Shipment Schedule: First shipment within 45 days after
contract/Po signature

5. Documentation Required

1. Commercial Invoice (3/3 originals)
2. Packing List
3. Bill of Lading (Clean On Board)
4. SGS Inspection Certificate (Weight & Quality)
5. Certificate of Origin
6. Radiation Clearance Certificate
7. Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) if applicable
8. Export License (if regulated by origin country)

6. Payment Terms

Payment Method: Irrevocable Documentary Letter of
Credit (LC) at sight, or 30% TT advance + 70% against
B/L copy
Banking Charges: All charges outside buyer's country
borne by seller
Currency: USD/EUR

7. Special Requirements

Radiation: Must pass Geiger-Müller counter test (background
level + 0.2USv/h max)
Hazardous Materials: Zero tolerance for asbestos,
PCBs, lead-containing paints, explosives
Photo Documentation: Pre-loading photos of
container condition and cargo required

8. Supplier Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience in scrap metal export
Valid export license and environmental compliance certificates
Bank reference and trade references from previous buyers
Annual turnover USD 5 million preferred

9. Quotation Submission

Please provide your offer including:
Unit price per MT (specify currency and Incoterm)
Loading port and shipping schedule
Company profile and past performance records
SGS/inspection fee allocation
Validity period of offer
