We want to import Aluminium Wires.

Technical Specification OF Aluminium Wire (9.5 MM
Diameter)

Application:
The Aluminium rod is of uniform quality and temper,
smooth, and free from pipes, laps, cracks, kinks, twists,
seams, inclusions and other imperfections not
consistent with good commercial practice. It is suitable
for drawing into wire meeting in full the requirements
established in the specifications ASTM B 233-97, or its
equivalent.

Properties:
Continuous Cast Hot Rolled E.C. Grade Aluminium Wire
used for Electrical purpose conforming to 9.5 mm
diameter, according to specification ASTM B 233-97, or
its equivalent.

Standard: The reference Standard shall be ASTM B 233-
97, ASTM B 398 / B 398 M -02 or its equivalent.

The Aluminium Rod after redraw into the final diameter
of wire and under controlled heat treatment will comply
with the requirements as per ASTM B 398
Detailed specifications with technical leaflets/brochure
and quality certificate of products from the
manufacturer should be submitted along with offer.

Packing: Most secured sea worthy and strong packing
durable rough handling on the way. The coiling shall be
in tight layer without joint vertical caging type take up
therefore it shall be easy to use in vertical pay off in
RBD machine. The materials shall be packed in coils of
not more than 2000 kg in wooden pallets with water
proof polythene inside and hard board paper banded
with 4 (four) steel strips across the coil and outside
wrapping of water repellent jute wrapping, securely
tied with 3 (three) nylon strips to ensure safe transit by
sea.

Sample:
A sample of minimum 20 Kg of Aluminium wire (9.5 mm
diameter) of no commercial value must be submitted
on or before the date of tender opening with detailed
specifications & technical leaflets / brochure having
extrusion temperature gradients and quality of the
products from the manufacturer. Also the tenderers
must provide evidence of country of origin of the
product.
